Her home was a gathering place for friends and a hub of family activity for many years. It was not unusual for her to make six or seven pots of coffee on a Sunday morning.
She loved her flower garden and raising chickens and also enjoyed reading. A devoted mother and grandmother, she truly enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Beal was a longtime member of the Greenwich Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by four children, Harry E. Beal (Lois) of Salem, Roy Beal (Suzanne) of Greenwich, Alvin H. Beal (Janet) of Salem and Carol B. Cruzan (Dale) of Stow Creek Twp., 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. She is also survived by one sister-in-law, Emma Hymer and a number of nieces and nephews and was predeceased by brothers, Hartley, Joseph and Edward Hymer.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at the Greenwich Presbyterian Church, Ye Greate St., Greenwich on Tuesday morning August 27th at 11 o’clock where friends will be received from 10 until 11.

The interment will take place following the funeral service in the church cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested in Mrs. Beal’s memory to the Greenwich Presbyterian Church, c/o Sue Smith, 982 Ye Greate Street, Greenwich, NJ 08232.
