Land purchased by Robert Howe of William Foster, Esq. by deed dated the eleventh day of November, 1773 for four hundred seventy acres and three rods and is part of a larger tract of land that William Foster purchased of the heirs and executors of John Alford, late of the state of Massachusetts, deceased, by deed dated the 22nd of January, 1773 and recorded at the secretary's office in Burlington. Witnesses are Aaron Lippincott and William Haines.
