My name is JC Henry and I am researching the BOZARTH family. I have a Catherine BOZARTH b. 1850 d. 1883 in Landis Twp. Cumberland, NJ. Catherine had four children as follows:

    Elizabeth A. HARRIS b. 1872
    Benjamin D. HARRIS b. 1872
    Rachel A. HARRIS b. 1876
    Mary E. HARRIS b. 1879 d. 1879

The father is these children is named in birth records as Lorenzo HARRIS, however, when Catherine died, she was described as Catherine BOZARTH (widow). I have never found Catherine and Lorenzo in census together, only Catherine and the children.

Her son Benjamin is listed in 1880 census and again in 1900 census (JUNE) living with his grandfather Daniel Ivins BOZARTH and listed as Benjamin HARRIS, however, when he marries in Oct 1900 to Daisy ABRAMS, he uses the name Benjamin BOZARTH and gives his grandfather's name as his father. And BOZARTH is the name he uses for the rest of his life.

I have found 2 men named Lorenzo HARRIS in the same time frame. One is the one you have listed s/o Joseph marrying Elizabeth WELLINGTON and . The other is Lorenzo s/o John and Rachel HARRIS.

I have been unable to come up with a marriage cert or any marriage information for Catherine and Lorenzo.

I find Catherine in the 1880 census listed as Catherine E. HARRIS (married), with her two living daughters and her brother Daniel. Benjamin, as I stated was living with his grandparents.
