"Children in my house and family with me all that woolen cloth already made for clothing, each child to have as intended by me known to my daughter Sarah Ogden and granddaughter Anna Harris." Daughter, Sarah Ogden, wife of Thomas Ogden, residue of estate. Executor--son-in-law, Thomas Ogden. Witnesses--David Fithian, Henry Wescote, Benjamin Stratton, Junior. Proved 27 Dec., 1750.

Thomas Harris, will of, 24 Oct 1749, Fairfield Precinct, Cumberland Co.
Wife, Anna, during widowhood, 1/2 of improvements within Beller's Survey, both of upland and marsh, and benefit of produce upon homestead, wheat in the barn at Deerfield, and on ground at home. Son, Caleb, the other 1/2 of improvements within Beller's Survey, both of upland and marsh. Son, Thomas, 1/2 of lands at Deerfield, excepting 86 acres designed for son Isaac, and on which he lived and died, which is to be given to his sons--Isaac (not 21) and Thomas (not 21); also to my son Thomas one moiety of salt marsh, the homestead and the marsh within Beller's Survey. Son, Jeremiah, other half of the land at Deerfield. To grandsons above mentioned, improvements on the Society's land. To Anna, Mercy, Mary and Esther Harris, daughters of my late son Isaac, benefit of lease which I gave to Abraham Garretson. Daughter, Sarah Ogden, to share with her three brothers in residue of the estate, Caleb improving his part under conduct of executors. Executors--sons Thomas and Jeremiah. Witnesses--David Ogden, Isaac Preston, David Fithian, Joseph Seelye. Proved Dec. 20 (1749; but no year mentioned).
1749, Dec. 19. Inventory (£298.2) includes negro man (£50), cattle, sheep and hogs (£76.06.0). Appraisers--Jeremiah Buck, Joseph Seelye.
