Alan David Hollins
(July 14, 1956 - January 20, 2011)
On January 20, 2011. Age 54. Of Audubon. Formerly of Philadelphia. Loving husband of 13 years to Louise Marie (nee Checchia). Loving son of Joan “Carol” Anthony and the late William E. Hollins. Dear brother of Janel Kieslich and her husband U. Douglas Kieslich. Loving uncle of Brett Kieslich and Brooke Kieslich.
Alan graduated from Lincoln High School class of 1974 and received his B.S. in Political Science from Rutgers University in 1996. Alan was a well respected and well loved employee of UPS Logistics Custom – Brokerage in Philadelphia. He was a Past Master of Athelstan Lodge (1989) in Philadelphia and marched with Harrowgate String Band. Alan would never miss watching any sports on TV and was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Phillies. He had a passion for history and politics, reading books and playing the saxophone.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend his viewing on Thursday evening from 5:30 to 7 PM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City, NJ. Funeral Service 7 PM in the funeral home officiated by Pastor Patrick Gaffney. Cremation will be private. A memorial service will take place on Tuesday, February 1st at 7 PM at The Lord’s Home: 6 Brittin Ave., Audubon.

First tract beginning at a hickory stump at Oldmans Creek, thence N 45° 32' E 51 chains and 50 links to a corner of Robert Howey's 25 acres, then by the same N 45° W 35 chains and 20 links to Avis' Run thence down the run ca. 33 chains to a post corner to lands late James Avis's and George Avis's thence N 71° W 1 chain and 81 links to a black oak, thence S 41° 30' W 6 chains to a white oak thence S 40° 30' W three chains and 42 links, thence S 49° E 80 links thence S 45° E 3 chains and 25 links, then S 42° W two chains and 2 links, thence S 12° E 2 chains and 50 links thence S 40° W 50 links to Oldmans Creek aforesaid thence up the creek to the point of beginning . 180 acres agreeable to the survey done in 1773.
