the South Jersey Hospital System, Millville Division. He had been in failing health for
two months.
Mr. Howey had been employed by the Joffee Lumber Company in Vineland for the past
23 years. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and a former member of the
Texas Riding Club of motorcyclists.
Born in Cedarville, he was a Millville resident for 13 years and, prior to that, he resided
in Tuckerton and Cedarville.
He is survived by four sons, Edward L. III, of Delmont, David, of Laurel Lake, Darrell,
of Bridgeton, and Robert Elbertson, of Dividing Creek; three daughters, Brenda, of
Laurel Lake, Julie Whilden, of Millville, and Betina, of Texas; one brother, Romaine, of
Tuckerton; three sisters, Drucila Cheesman, of Millville, Margaret, of Bridgeton, and
Beatrice Hughes, of Tennessee; and six grandchildren.
Services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Padgett Funeral Home, Cedarville. Burial
will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville.
Friends may call one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Edward Martin Howey Jr.

He was born in New Jersey. He was a member of Big Hill Baptist Church and was employed at Peco Foods. He was preceded in death by his father Edward Martin Howey Sr. He died Oct. 1, 2007 at the age of 56 at DCH Regional Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife Janis Hunter Howey, Gordo; daughter Audrey Howey, Gordo; sister Lillian Banks, New Jersey; mother Lillian Howey, New Jersey; three grandchildren; R. Ledden Rosato, nephew, New Jersey; also in-laws Harold and Mariea Hunter, New Jersey.
Pallbearers were Gregory Motorna, Todd Hall, Jeremy Sellears, Kenny Junkin, Rayford Hudson, Larry Finley, Paul Patterson and Cole Patterson.
Honorary pallbearers were Chad Shirley and R. Ledden Rosato.
Burial was in Big Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with SKELTON FUNERAL HOME of Reform directing.

Huntsinger - Venable
Frank C. Huntsinger and Miss Louisa K. Venable were married at 8 o'clock last Saturday evening at the parsonage of Trinity M. E. Church, Rev. E. A. Miller, Jr. performed the ceremony, the ring being used.
Mr. and Mrs. Huntsinger went to Washington for a wedding trip. The bride received a goodly number of pretty gifts, although the wedding was a quiet one.
