She had worked as a blueprint copier at the Newport News Shipyard. Preceded in death by her husband Linwood Acree, survivors include her daughters, Kathryne Lamm of Newport News and Sadie Jean Buehler of Las Vegas; her son, Herman Bodine Doughty of California; 13 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 20, in Peninsula Memorial Park by the Rev. Frank Earwood. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. tonight at R. Hayden Smith Funeral Home.
