And Naomi his wife by one deed of Indenture date the third day of September A. Dom. 1797 did therein grant and convey unto Isaac Howey aforesaid his Heirs and assigns in fee simple, all the before mentioned twenty five acres of land and premises left unto him by his Father aforesaid being situated in the Township of Woolwich and County and State aforesaid. Adjoining unto the Southwesterly side of said Isaac Howeys other twenty five acres reference being had to said recited will and deed may more fully appease(?). Now this Indenture witnesseth that the said Isaac Howey and Abigail his Wife for and in consideration of the sum of One thousand pounds current specie Money of the State aforesaid to him the said Isaac Howey in hand well and truly paid by the said William Mulford at or before the ensealing and delivery hereof…..convey to William Mulford and to his heirs and assigns forever All them two described tracts of Land and premises containing Fifty Acres in them both the out lines…..Beginning at the stone corner to William Holmes Land…..to a stone corner of John Howeys Land….to a corner of James Webb Lot at the Head of his Mill pond.     New Jersey Legislature, on 30 NOV 1792, passed a new militia law. Under this
    act all men between the ages of 18 and 45 years who were able bodied could
    either enroll in the county militia or pay an annual tax of three dollars.
    However, exempt from these were all government officials, postal officials,
    mail stage and mail ferry drivers, mariners and ministers of the Gospel.

    27-year employee of Kerr Glass Co., lifelong Cedarville resident
    Eli "Mike" Creamer Jr., 85, of Cedarville died Monday afternoon at his home. He had been in declining heath for the past six months.
    Born in Cedarville, the son of the late Eli and Alice Blizzard Creamer, he was the husband of the late Marguerite Mullen Creamer. He was a lifelong Cedarville resident.
    Before retirement 24 years ago, he was employed by Kerr Glass Company in Millville for 27 years. Mr. Creamer was a World War II veteran, serving with the U.S. Army in the European Theater. He was a member of the Cedarville United Methodist Church, VFW Post No. 2169 of Millville, Disabled American Veterans Vineland Memorial Chapter No. 58 and G.P.P.A.W. Union.
    Survivors include a stepson, Donald B. Carty Sr. of Millville several stepgrandchildren, including Tim Carty, with whom Mr. Creamer resided, and several nieces and nephews.
    He was preceded in death by two sisters, Ada Peterson and Hazel Lathberry.
    The funeral is 11 a.m. Friday in the Padgett Funeral Home, 160 Main St., Cedarville. The Rev. Francis E. Champion will conduct the services. Friends will be received an hour before the service Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Centre Grove Methodist Cemetery.
    Contributions in Mr. Creamer's memory may be made to the Lawrence Township Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 369, Cedarville, NJ 08311.
