On June 20, 1800 Joshua Howey sold to David Davis, yeoman of Waterford Twp, Gloucester County, 11 acres in Pilesgrove twp. part of 33 acres which his father, David Davis, Esq., had owned and sold to Israel Lock in 1754. The witnesses were Joseph Davis and Samuel Pine. (Salem Deeds B:459). and on the same day, David Davis, and Rachel, his wife of Waterford Twp, sold 11 other acres to Joshua Howey, which David had bought March 9, 1774.
