Event-Misc1850He was see note on Thomas Venable married to Rebecca. I suspect these are one and the same person. in 1850.
Event-Misc*1850He was Some evidence supports that this Thomas Venable married to "Rebecca" is the same Thomas Venable married to Sarah Pearson. William S. Venable died at age 90 and so it is quite reasonable to expect that his death certificate might incorrectly name his mother as "Rebecca". A Thomas Venable, coach painter, age 66, married to Sarah appears in the 1850 census only a few pages (p. 98 and p. 101) from the William S. Venable household. William S. was also a coach painter. The death of his parents might explain the move of William S. Venable to Cumberland Co. in 1855. in 1850.
