    *Note: The Dilke and Hinton connections are suggested in secondary sources. John Hinton was in Virginia and was enumerated with Clement Dilke. Colonial records coupled with onomastic analysis suggest that the line is probable. Michael Griswold's parentage is likely correct, but is not fully proven. Richard Water's parentage is proven. The question is whether his maternal 2nd great-grandfather married Margaret Brandon. This is stated in secondary sources, but is not yet proven. Richard Williams' ancestry is based on one undocumented article in the NEHG Register and is still lacking proofs. Jonathan Fairbanks' ancestry is sound. The question is whether his maternal great-grandmother, Margaret, wife of Brian Farrer, was a daughter of John Lacy of Cromwell Bottom, England. Edward Windham's ancestry is proven. The question is whether he is the father of Edward Windham of Virginia. Research is ongoing in primary records. As it currently stands, these seven lines are probable. They are neither proven nor disproven. They are included as a stimulus to further research. The remainder of the database is sound insofar as I have been able to determine. Yet, much is based on credible, yet secondary sources, and as such, is open to interpretation and subject to change. I welcome any evidence that either proves or disproves the asserted relationships in my database.
