ALBERT LAFOUNTAIN IS TAKEN BY DEATH
1852-1942
Albert LaFountain, 89, died Tuesday evening at his residence 266 Osmun St., after two and a half weeks of illiness. He had suffered from paralysis for 10 years. LaFountain was born in Ray township and married Elizabeth Gordinier on Feb. 15, 1882.
A resident of Pontiac most of his life. Mr. LaFountain was a mill fireman many years ago and later became a farmer.
Surviving, besides his widow, are two daughters, Mrs. Rillia Beneman of Bay City and Mrs. Bessie Darling of Pontiac and three sons, Jack of Saginaw, and Albert and Russell of Pontiac. He also leaves 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 2pm Friday at the Voorhees Chapel with burial in Clarkston. (copied from newspaper clipping in The Pontiac Press.)
