Arthur N. Bailey, 80, retired Northern Indiana Brass Co. worker, died Monday evening in the Pleasant View Nursing Home. The Bailey home is on Adamsville Rd.
Mr. Bailey retired for NIBCO 20 years, retiring in 1950.
He was born July 10, 1881 in Snyder County. He married Grace A. Gemberling on Christmas Day, 1902, in Selinsgrove, Pa. They moved to Elkhart in 1912. Mrs. Bailey died Nov. 30, 1957.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Verne Griffith of Elkhart, and Mrs. A.F. (Eva) McConnell of Toledo, Ohio, three sons, guy of Wakarusa, Earl of Toledo, and Arthur Jr. of Utica, Mi., and a brother Clarence of Freeburg, Pa, 31 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Westbrook-Metz Funeral Home from 7 to 9pm this evening.
Services will be in the funeral home at 10:30am Wednesday with the Rev. A.L.Keller of Bethel EUB Church in charge. Burial will be at Rice Cemetery.
