SAUGATUCK - Basil LaFountain, 73, died Sunday, Aug. 21, 1994, at his home in Saugatuck. He was pre-deceased by his wife of 50 years, Ruth Willson LaFountain (1 Dec 1921-31 oct 1992).
Surviving are his children, Terry and Karen LaFountain, Jill Peterson of Pontiac, Bonnie and Doug Lowe of Saugatuck, Annie LaFountain of Saugatuck, and Sally LaFountain of Grand Rapids; 12 grandchildren; six geat-grandchildren; sisters Thelma Taylor and Beverly Bates; brothers O.Jay and Fay and Thelma LaFountain.
No services are planned. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Holland. Arrangements were by the Saugatuck Chapel, Dykstra Funeral Homes.
