CATHEDRAL OF THE ASSUMPTION
The Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow Town, County Carlow was completed in 1833. The cathedral was designed primarily by the architect Thomas Cobden in a gothic style and was built to replace an earlier chapel built on the same site in the 1780s.
