CORCOMROE ABBEY
Corcomroe Abbey, Ballyvaughan, County Clare (also known as Saint Mary of the Fertile Rock, and as the Abbey of Burren), was probably founded by Dónal O Brien, King of Limerick, in 1194 as a Cistercian establishment.
