OLD FRIARY, ENNIS
The Old Friary, Ennis, County Clare, a Franciscan friary, was established in 1240 by Donncadh Cairbreach O'Brien, King of Thomond. It was used for services by the Church of Ireland from late in the 17th century until 1871.
