WHITE ABBEY
The Carmelite Priory, White Abbey, Kildare Town, County Kildare.
White Abbey was established in 1292. The community was suppressed in 1540 along with other religious establishments and was not re-established until the 18th century. This church dates from 1887. There are no remains of the earlier structures which occupied the site.
