Sharon: This is the obituary from The Goldthwaite Eagle, March 13, 1915 for Mrs. E. E. Props, who is buried in Rocksprings Cemetary.

She was my Gr-Gr-Grandmother and her maiden name was Elizabeth Emmaline Briscoe.

"Mrs. E. E. Props died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. W. Westerman, last Friday morning. She was almost 93 years old and was a member of the Methodist church about 70 years. She was the Mother of 13 children and only left five to mourn her death. She was an invalid almost 14 years. She stood her suffering very patiently with the hope of getting better until the last few years.

She is gone but not forgotten. There is a vacant chair in the home that never more can be filled.

She was laid to rest in the Rock Springs cemetery last Saturday afternoon.
