David Allen Brown was born November 18, 1887 on the farm owned by his parents and grandparents for 3 generations. Now known as Birch Valley Farm near Birch Tre, MO.
On October the 2nd 1912, he was married to Ella Mae Taylor of Montier, MO. His grandfather Judge Henry L. Darling, performed the cermony. To this union were born seven children Guy E., Richard H., Donald E., Allen T., Delmar F., Lenora Sue and William D.
In the Summer of 1910 he was converted, babtised and joined Birch Valley Church. He remained a member of that church throughout his life.
He was a kind husband and father - a helpful neighbor and good citizen.
