I am Jami Alane Self Hamilton, so named at Baskin Robbins ice cream store in Lawrence, Kansas by my Aunt Pat. I had always thought that Mom & Dad had not picked out a girls name and so I was stuck with Jami, but I later found out that Jami was the girls name they chose. I am happy with it now because I am named after my Father, who I never really knew as he died when I was 2 years old. My Grandfather is Roy Walter Self and his Father was Albert Doss Self.
I have decided to condense the amount of Self information I have online since not many have responded to my previous web site which contained all my Self data. If your Self family was Choctaw and lived in Oklahoma, then we are kin. Drop me a line and I will send you whatever data I have on our family. Be forewarned it will be ALOT!!
