In the third item, she gives ber son Daniel five shillings and no more, he having already received of his father thirty pounds which be refuses to pay or be accountable for to her, saying that his father gave it to him.

In item four, she bequeaths unto her daughter Maria Miner (wife of Jacob Miner) her best new bed, bedspread, bed clotbes and curtains.

In item seven, she appoints Sylvester and Daniel co-executors. The witnesses were James (son of George and uncle of Daniel), Moses (son of James) and Sarah (wife of Moses) Boone. (Aside: I consider the possibility that Barbaras maiden name might bave been Boone but tbe booklet Annals of the Oley Valley out rules this possibiliy Coincidentally these Boones lived on tbe land presently owned by Severin Fayerman and is called Boonecroft. Mr. Fayerman also owns the 9 farm where our cemetery is located.) The will was signed by her mark. In the same folder with the will is a slip of paper on which Daniel renounces being executor for reasons known to himself. This paper is signed by Daniel. The inventory and accounting is by Sylvester.
