David Alger Ramey, 73, of Volga, died Saturday, Oct. 25, at Community Hospice
Care Center, Ashland.
   
Born Jan. 1, 1941, at Wayland, he was the son of the late Rev. Russell and
Virgie McKenzie Ramey. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
 
Survivors include a son, Darrell Allen Ramey of Flat Gap; two daughters,
Cheryl Ann Breisch of San Antonio, Texas, and Erin Michele Himes of Morehead;
12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
   
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, Oct. 29, at Paintsville
Funeral Home Chapel. Paintsville Masonic Lodge #381 F&AM will conduct
services at 12:30 p.m.
  
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction of
Paintsville Funeral Home, Paintsville.
