Richard Harold Sharp, 86, of Bradford, Ohio, formerly of Johnson County, died
Friday, February 20, at VA Hospice Center, Dayton, Ohio.
  
Born Nov. 3, 1928, at Rochester, N.Y., he was the son of the late Ervine
Sharp and Bessie Dorothy Hochum. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
  
He was also preceded in death by five brothers.
  
Survivors include his wife, Mildred Gambill Sharp; two sons, Richard Allen
Sharp and Ronnie Harold Sharp; a daughter, Vickie Lee Workman; nine
grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
  
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, Feb. 25, at Jones-Preston
Funeral Chapel, with Ronnie Spriggs, and Larry Blair officiating. Full
military honors will be by the U.S. Army.
  
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction of
Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
