Carol Francis Reffett Spradlin, 69, of Hager Hill, died Wednesday, June 4,
at Pikeville Medical Center.
  
Born Sept. 1, 1944, in Johnson County, she was the daughter of the late
Zack and Kitty Salyers Reffett. She was a homemaker.
  
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Jo Stevenson; and a
sister, Mary Ann Palmer.
  
Survivors include her husband, Buell Edward Spradlin; a son, Buell David
Spradlin, of Floyd County; two daughters, Teressa Lynn Click of Leander and
Lisa Carol Stephens of Leander; two brothers, Don Reffett of Van Lear and
Paul Reffett of Martin County; two sisters, Linda Reffett of Stambaugh and
Joyce Powers of Wittensville; nine grandchildren; and seven great-
grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were Saturday, June 7, at Liberty Baptist Church, Denver,
with Bob Collins officiating.
  
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Staffordsville, under
direction of Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
