EVELENA TACKETT

Funeral services will be held today, May 16, 2 p.m. at the Jones-
Preston Funeral Home Chapel for Evelena Tackett, 91, of Lowmansville,
Ky., who passed away Sunday, May 11 at Mountain Manor Nursing Home of
Paintsville, Ky.
 
Mrs. Tackett was born Feb. 10, 1917 in Johnson County, Ky., daughter
of the late Willie and Laura Castle Crider.
  
She was a homemaker. She was also preceded in death by her husband,
Tenner Tackett.
  
Surviving are one sister, Phyllis Tackett Skaggs of Lowmansville; and
two grandsons, and two great-grandsons.
  
The service will be officiated by James Kelly Caudill, with burial
following in the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville, Ky.
  
Arrangements under the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home of
Paintsville.
