William Francis “Willie” Tackett, 64, of Paintsville, died Saturday, May
31, at her residence.
  
Born Dec. 8, 1949, at Paintsville, he was the son of the late Elmer and
Ruth Wallen Tackett. He was retired from American Standard and a U.S. Army
veteran.
  
Survivors include his wife, Brenda King Tackett; two sons, Stephen Douglas
Tackett of River and William Jordan Tackett of Paintsville; two daughters,
Tammy Nichole Tackett of River and Kodi Leigh Tackett of Paintsville; two
sisters, Myra Tackett of Oil Springs and Lana Greer of Whitesburg; and a
grandchild.
  
Funeral services were Tuesday, June 3, at Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel, with Jimmy Woods officiating.
  
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, under direction of Jones-
Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
