Paul Wade Trimble, 80, of Paintsville, died Thursday, Aug. 7, at
Hospice Care Center, Lexington.

Born June 30, 1928, in Johnson County, he was a son of the late Bruce
C. and Norsie Reed Trimble. He was an educator with Paintsville City
Schools, a member of the First United Methodist Church, a U.S. Korean
Army veteran, a lifelong member of the Kentucky Education
Association, the National Education Association, member of the Board
of Control of the Kentucky High School Athletic Association, member
of the Kentucky Committee of the Southern Association of Colleges and
School.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Anna Lee Haines Trimble.

Survivors include two sisters, Georgene McKenzie and Lorene Carney of
Staffordsville; two brothers, Davis Reed Trimble of Staffordsville
and John Mark Trimble of Paintsville.

Funeral services were Sunday, Aug. 10, at Jones-Preston Funeral Home
Chapel with Don Barnett officiating.

Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction
of Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
