AGNES WEBB
1900-1966
Agnes Webb, age 66, died Friday, May 20, 1:30 p.m. at the
Williamson Memorial Hospital, Williamson, West Virginia, after an
extended illness.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, May 23, 1 p.m. at the
Jones-Preston Funeral Home with John Crum and Elza Banks
officiating.
Born February 11, 1900 in Johnson County, she was the daughter of
the late W. J. and Harriet Spears Conley.
She had been a lifelong resident of Johnson County, recently
residing at Paintsville. She was also a member of the Cedar Grove
United Baptist Church.
Her husband, the late Haskell Webb, preceded her in death August
25, 1964.
Surviving are two sons: John Charles, Dayton and Fred R.,
Paintsville; five daughters: Mrs. Roberta Ebling, Warren, Ohio;
Mrs. Pauline Grim, Paintsville; Mrs. Ernestine Fitch, Williamson,
West Virginia; Mrs. Louise Rice and Mrs. Maurine Castle, Columbus,
Ohio.
Also surviving are a brother George Conley, Cincinnati, Ohio and
two sisters, Mrs. George Messer, Stacy, Virginia and Mrs. Clyde
Fields, Dayton, Ohio.
Burial was held in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
