James Warren Wells, 63, of Roan Mt., Tenn., died Tuesday, June 10, at
Sycamore Shoals Hospital, Elizabethton, Tenn.
  
Born Oct. 20, 1944, in Johnson County, he was a son of the late
Denzil and Geraldine Gullett Wells.
   
Survivors include a son, Larry Lee Wells of Columbia, S.C.; a
daughter, Gina K. Wells of Roan Mt., a brother, William "Bill" Wells
of Clarksville, Tenn.; a sister, Doris Deana Wells Kirk of
Westerville, Ohio; four grandchildren; and one great- grandchild.
  
Memorial services were Monday, June 16, at Jones-Preston Funeral
Chapel, Paintsville.
  
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction
of Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
