Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2 p.m. at the Jones-Preston
Funeral Home Chapel for Helen Margaret Wilcox, 84, of West Van Lear, who
passed away Saturday, Jan. 17 at The Hurstbourne Care Center in Louisville.
  
Mrs. Wilcox was born Dec. 14, 1930 in Johnson County, daughter of the late
Ballard and Sarah Webb Hyden.
  
She was also preceded in death by one son, Michael Ray Daniels; six brothers,
and one sister.
  
Surviving are her husband, Clifton Wilcox; one daughter Joyce Daniels of
Louisville; one daughter-in-law, Barbara Daniels of Wabash, Ind.; two
sisters, Gladys Blair and Thelma Helton, both of Dayton, Ohio; four
grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
  
The service will be officiated by Manford Fannin, with burial to follow in
the Highland Memorial Park Cemetery at Staffordsville.
  
Arrangements under the direction of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home of
Paintsville.
