JESSE ALBERT LEMASTER
1925-1944

OBITUARY

Jesse Albert Lemaster, born December 27, 1925, died December 27,
1944, enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in February 1944.

He took his basic training at San Diego, California, and then was
shipped overseas to fight for his country. After having been in
battle for several months in the Philippine Islands, he met death
aboard ship while being evacuated to Guam.

He has gone before us, we hope to swell the number with Christ where
he said, “I will go and prepare a place for you that where I am you
may be also.

Leaving to mourn his loss are his father and mother, one brother,
James Lemaster, two sisters, Mrs. Maude Burton and Wanda Ruth
Lemaster, grandfather, James Rufus Lemaster, and a host of other
relatives and friends.

We miss our darling boy,

As many others know,

We hope he has gone to heaven,

Where we are going to go.

So many times it grieves us,

But God who knows the best,

Has prepared a beautiful city

For those who have gone to rest.
