RENNIE PACK
1884-1961
Rennie Pack, 76, retired miner of Van Lear, died at his home at
8:30 p.m. Monday, May 22 1961, after an extended illness.
The son of the late John and Mollie McGuire Pack, he was born in
Lawrence County, September 10 1884, and had lived at Van Lear
for the past forty seven years.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Angie Webb Pack; four sons, John R.
Pack, Jenkins; Herman Pack, Chicago Ill.; Russell Pack, Van
Lear; Virgil Pack, Dayton, Ohio; three daughters, Mrs. Leonard
Meade, Winston Salem, North Carolina; Rema Pack, Van Lear; Mrs.
Paul Lambert, Dayton, Ohio; two brothers, Dennis Pack,
Nelsonville, Ohio; John Pack, Indiana; one sister, Mrs. George
Crager, Wayland.
Also surviving are eleven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May
25, in the chapel of the Jones-Preston Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
