Jim Pratt, 87, of Paintsville, died Tuesday, July 21, 1998 at
Paul B. Hall Regional Medical Center, Paintsville, Johnson Co
Ky.
He was born August 27, 1910, in Morgan County, the son of the
late Webb and Pearlie Maggard Pratt.
He was a former co-owner of Pratt Fruit Co.
Surviving are his wife, Maxine Arnett Pratt; one daughter, Joan
Carol Pratt Sublett of Paintsville; two brothers, Frank Pratt of
Staffordsville and Otto Pratt of Paintsville; four sisters, Flo
Hamilton of Richmond, Jean Blair and Zola Lykins, both of White
Oak; and Roncie Lykins of Nicholasville; one step- daughter,
Donna Sue Ratliff of West Van Lear; two step- grandchildren and
one step-great grandchild.
Services were held Friday May 2 at Preston Funeral Home Chapel
with Revs. Larry Blair and John Michael Blanton officiating.
Burial was at Highland Memorial Park in Staffordsville.
