WORTH RATLIFF
Worth Ratliff, 44 of Sitka died Tuesday, February 13, 1973, in a
local hospital following an extended illness.
He was a coal miner and was affiliated with the Enterprise
Baptist Church.
He was the son of the late Lonnie and Maudie Spradlin Ratliff.
Immediate survivors include his wife, Maudie Spradlin Ratliff,
two sons, Thomas J. Ratliff of Urbana, Ohio, and James Arthur
Ratliff of Sitka, four sisters, Mary Alice Ratliff of Sitka,
Sandra Sue Ratliff of Sitka, Betty Jean Young of Tutor Key, and
Lillian Hope Cantrell of Wheelersburg, three brothers, Arnold
Ratliff of Springfield, Ohio, Arvill Ratliff of Carey, Ohio, and
Marvin Ratliff of Sitka, and two sisters, Eva Ward of VanLue,
Ohio, and Beatrice Blair of Denver.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Charles Stapleton and
Rev. Bruce Daniels on Thursday, February 15, 1973, at 11:00 a.m.
in the Kerz Enterprise Baptist Church.
Burial followed in the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville
under direction of the Jones- Preston Funeral Home.
