SARA MARGARET REDD
1916-1987
   
Sara Margaret Wells Redd, 70, died Wednesday, March 25.
  
Mrs. Redd was born April 6, 1916 in Johnson County, the daughter of John
Briton and Jennie Ward Wells. She was a member of the Mayo Methodist
Church.
  
Surviving are her husband, Edd Redd; two sons, William R. Boyd of Goose
Creek, SC and John E. Redd of Long Beach, CA; two daughters, Kaye B.
Dorsey of Crystal River, FL and Peggy Hilgers of St. Petersburg, FL; one
brother, J. B. Wells of Paintsville; two sisters, Vina Arrowood of
Paintsville and Irene Kazee of Ponciana, FL; and nine grandchildren and
one great grandchild.
 
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 28 in Jones-Preston Funeral
Home Chapel with Gene Strange officiating.
  
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
