WOODROW SALYER
1917-1990
Woodrow Salyer, 73, died Sunday, April 29, in Doctor's Hospital, Columbus,
Ohio.
Mr. Salyer was born February 15, 1917 in Johnson County, the son of Ross and
Grace Lemaster Salyer. He was a truck driver and member of the Freewill
Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Blanton Salyer, in 1980.
Surviving are one son, Mike Salyer, of Brownstown, Indiana; three sisters,
Evelyn Pennington, of Jackson, Ohio, and Mary Jo Pairagin and Opal Anderson,
both of Columbus; and one grandson.
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, May 2, at 11 a.m., in Oil
Springs Freewill Baptist Church, with Rev. Justin Harmon officiating.
Burial will be in the family cemetery at Oil Springs, with Paintsville
Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
