EUNICE SALYERS
1914-1982
Funeral services for Eunice Rice Salyers, 67, of 202 Bridge Street,
Paintsville, were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, May 29 in the Jones-
Preston Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Charles Milam of First Baptist Church
officiating.
Mrs. Salyers died May 27 at Paintsville Hospital after an extended illness.
She was the widow of Ralph Salyers and was an active member of Paintsville
First Baptist church.
Born August 8, 1914, at Jenkins, she was the daughter of B. G. Rice and
Sarah Elizabeth Rice, who now resides at West Van Lear.
Other survivors include a daughter, Linda Ray Derucki, Clyde, OH; two
brothers, Kenneth Rice of Bethel, OH, and Raymond Rice of Huntsville, TX;
two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Interment was in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery.
