JANETTE AVONELL SAMMONS

Janette Avonell Sammons, 33, died Tuesday, April 15, at her home after an
extended illness.
  
The daughter of Russell and June Dills Sammons, she was born in August
1935 at Van Lear, and was a resident of Meally at the time of her death.
  
Survivors in addition to her parents, include a brother, Russell L.
Sammons of Cincinnati, OH, and three sisters, Charlene Spriggs and Arlene
Sammons of Dayton, OH and Geraldine Wells of Smyrna, GA.
  
J. H. Short officiated at services Thursday, April 17, at the Meally
Church of Christ.
  
Burial followed in the Troy Fitch Cemetery at Meally.
  
The Preston Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
