LUTHER STAMPER
1948-1999
Luther Stamper, 50, died Friday, April 2, 1999 at Highlands Regional
Medical Center.
Mr. Stamper was born October 19, 1948, in Johnson County, to Carrie
Frazier Stamper and the late Jess Stamper.
He was a maintenance worker for the Paintsville City, Schools and a
member of Chestnut Grove Enterprise Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Dottie Stamper; his mother; one son, Luther
Stamper Jr. of Paintsville; one daughter, Tina Michelle Stamper of
Paintsville; five brothers, James Stamper and Cecil Frazier, both of
Staffordsville Charles Stamper of Paintsville, Lloyd Stamper of
Delaware, Ohio, and Joe Stamper of Oklahoma; and two sisters, Thelma
Preston of West Van Lear and Marie Conley of Beaver, Ohio.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 5, at Preston Funeral Home
Chapel; with Terry Conley and Kenneth Wright officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville.
