Wales Stamper, 60, of Oil Springs, died Friday, Aug 27, at Community
Hospice Care Center, Ashland.
  
Born Oct. 3, 1949, at Blaine, he was the son of the late Jesse and
Carrie Jane Frazier Stamper. He was a laborer and a U.S. Army veteran.
  
Survivors include his wife, Brenda Blanton Stamper of Oil Springs; a
son, Joseph Michael Stamper of Bristow, Okla.; two daughters, Susan Rae
Malone of Jackson, Ohio, and Janie Marie Norton of Bristow, Okla.; two
brothers, Charles Stamper of Hazard and Lloyd Stamper of Delaware,
Ohio; a sister, Marie Conley of Beaver, Ohio; and seven grandchildren.
  
Funeral services were Monday, Aug. 30, at Paintsville Funeral Home
Chapel, with Joe Keaton officiating.
  
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction
of Paintsville Funeral Home, Paintsville.
