Ann Hayes Tackett, 85, of Flatwoods, formerly of Staffordsville, died
Sunday, Oct. 23, at her residence.
Born April 22, 1926, at Fort Valley, Ga., she was the daughter of the late
James M. and Cenia Cain Hayes.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Tackett; and a son,
Ronnie Tackett.
Survivors include three daughters, Anna Brashears of Staffordsville, Trudy
Skaggs of Flatwoods and Edna Sumner of Milledgeville, Ga.; seven
grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and seven great- great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, Oct. 26th, at Jones-
Preston Funeral Chapel, with Gene Roberts and Doug Crider officiating.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction of
Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
