BUELL TACKETT

Zanesville, Ohio resident Buell Tackett, 64, died Thursday, March 5
(1970) in Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville after an extended
illness.

The son of the late John F. and Clara Blevins Tackett, he was born at
Staffordsville on October 22, 1905. He was a coal miner and had
lived at Zanesville for the last seventeen years. He was affiliated
with the Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, the former Malvery Rowe, whom he married
on June 5, 1925 at Pikeville; three sons, Granville of Zanesville,
John of Paintsville and Archie of Marion, Ohio; and a daughter, Rose
Mary Mallett of Guthrie, Oklahoma.

Additional survivors include three brothers, Thurman, John F. and
Garland all of Staffordsville; five sisters, Mrs. Annie Lemasters of
Denver, Mrs. Ethel Salyers of Staffordsville, Mrs. Gladys Rowe of
Belcher, Mrs. Goldie King of Staffordsville and Mrs. Martha Hampton
of Wittensville; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, March 8 in the Southside
Free Will **rest is missing.
