LIZZIE M. TACKETT

Mrs. Lizzie M. Tackett, 73, of Staffordsville, died Wednesday, January 10 at
her home following an illness of several weeks; she was affiliated with the
United Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late W. R. and Julia
McFarlin Blanton.
Immediate survivors include her husband, F. M. Tackett, Sr., three sons, F.
M. Tackett, Jr., of Paintsville, Jack Tackett of Staffordsville, and Emory
E. Tackett of Opp, AL, two daughters, Mrs. Jewell McKenzie of Piketon, OH,
and Mrs. Mable Picklesimer of Thornsville, OH, and two sisters, Mrs. Carrie
McKenzie of Manila, and Mrs. Beulah Lemaster of Prestonsburg.
Funeral services were conducted by Florida Lyons and Arnold Reed on Friday,
January 12 at 1 p.m. in the Paintsville United Baptist Church.
Burial followed in the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville under
direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
