RONALD HARRISON TACKETT

Ronald Harrison Tackett, 67, of Lowmansville, died Thursday, April 7, at his
residence.
Born Dec. 24, 1943, at Fort Valley, Ga., he was the son of Ann Hayes Tackett
of Flatwoods and the late Gilbert Harrison Tackett. He was a U.S. Army
veteran.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Anita Gaye Hayburn Tackett.
Additional survivors include two daughters, Deborah Lynne Tackett of
Lowmansville and Melissa Gaye Tackett of Wittensville; three sisters, Anna
Bresheers of Staffordsville, Trudy Skaggs of Greenup, and Edna Sumner of
Milageville, Ga.; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were Monday, April 11, at Jones-Preston Funeral Chapel,
with Gene Roberts officiating. Military rites were by Auxier Chapter 18 DAV.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, under direction of
Jones-Preston Funeral Home, Paintsville.
