FAYE ETTA TAYLOR
1931-1978
Faye Etta Taylor, 47, died Saturday, August 12, in Paintsville Hospital.
Mrs. Taylor was born January 24, 1931 in Johnson County, the daughter of the
late Elmer Castle and Delia Osborne Caudill.
She was a resident of Paintsville and a member of the Pigeon Freewill
Baptist Church.
Survivors in addition to her mother are her husband, George Taylor, five
sons, Larry Lemaster, Paintsville, Phillip Ward, Berea, Toby Ward, Terry
Ward, and Gregory Ward, all of Paintsville, five daughters, Garnett
Hitchcock, Van Lear, Phyllis Ward and Mary Ann Seagrave of Paintsville,
Peggy Ann Ramey and Regina Irene Rose of Flat Gap. Also, a brother, Clifford
Castle, McArthur, OH, six sisters, Wilma Cavins, Wittensville, Vertrice
Hayes and Beatrice Murray, of Middletown, OH, Sarah Alice Hayes,
Paintsville, Mary Dykes, Florida, and Dareatha Murphy, Van Lear and 11
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 15, in the Jones-Preston Funeral
Home Chapel with Reverends Melvin Blanton and Edd Laney officiating.
Burial was in the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville with Jones-
Preston Funeral Home handling arrangements.
