PIERCE TRIMBLE
1895-1974
Pierce Trimble, a 78 year old Oil Springs resident, died in a local rest
home last Friday, April 5. Born in Johnson County on September 3, 1895.
Mr. Trimble was the son of the late Willie and Sally VanHoose Trimble and
was affiliated with the United Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife, Lelia Caudill Trimble, a daughter, Mrs. Howard Nutt
of White Pigeon, MI; a sister, Laura Trimble, of Paintsville, and two
brothers, J. V. Trimble of West Van Lear and Thurman Trimble of Kilburn, OH.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 8, in the Caudill Fork United
Baptist Church at Oil Springs with Elders Flem Arrowood and Arnold Reed
officiating.
Burial was in the Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville with arrangements
under the direction of the Paintsville Funeral Home.
