ROBERT GEORGE TRIMBLE
1930-1980
Robert George (Bob T) Trimble, 49, died Thursday, January 17, in Lexington
after a short illness.
Born February 2, 1930 in Johnson County, he was the son of the late Ervin
Cantrell and Laura Cantrell. He was a resident of Van Lear, a mechanic for
Cox Motor Car Company, and a member of the Concord United Baptist Church.
Surviving are his mother, Laura Cantrell, his wife, Billie Jean Trimble; a
son, Robert Shell Trimble and two daughters, Mary Trimble and Laura Trimble,
Tutor Key; a step son, Eddie Ferguson, Van Lear, a sister, Ethel Burkes,
Hager Hill, a step brother, Don Cantrell, defiance, OH and three step
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, January 20, in Thealka Freewill Baptist
Church with Don Fraley and Bill Meadows officiating.
Burial was in Highland Memorial Park at Staffordsville, with Preston Funeral
Home handling arrangements.
