Aged Resident Of Barnetts Creek Dies Tuesday Mrs. Sola Gertrude Trimble, 95,
died at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday May 23, at the home of her son, Paris Trimble at
Barnetts Creek, after an illness of four weeks.
  
The daughter of Haden and Cynthia Ellen Rice Conley, she was born in this
county and had spent most of her life in the Barnetts Creek community. She
was a member of the United Baptist Church. Her husband, Willie Trimble,
preceded her in death twenty-three years ago.
 
Surviving are two other sons, James G. Trimble, Van Lear, John Trimble,
Staffordsville; three daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Hall, Baltimore, Md.; Mrs.
Gillie Kennard, Dayton, Ohio; Mrs. Florence Blair, Barnetts Creek; two
brothers, Fonzo Conley, Staffordsville; Frank J. Conley, Paintsville; one
sister, Mrs. Ray Turner, Paintsville.
 
Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, from the Barnetts
Creek Freewill Baptist Church with Lonza Reed and Scott Castle as
officiating ministers.
 
Burial was in the family cemetery.
