PAULINE TURNER
1914-1956
Mrs. Pauline Turner, 51, died at her home in Boston, Mass, where she
was a resident of four years.
Born February 13, 1914, at Thealka, she was the daughter of the late
William R. Davis and Lenora Davis, of Ashland.
She was an affiliate of the First Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Johnnie Turner, Paintsville; three
daughters, Lois Adkins, Morehead, Joyce Penix Morehead, and Virginia
Ball Paintsville. She had five grandchildren.
Other survivors include four sisters; Mrs. Lon C. Hall, Paintsville,
Mrs. John Justice, Ashland, Mrs. Wilma Brown, Chicago, Ill, and Mrs.
Dorothy Washington, D. C.
Active pallbearers were; Doug Miller, Bill Fraley, Jack Pelphrey,
Tommie Hall, Bay Preston, and Nelson Gullett. Honorary pallbearers
were; Roy Vanhoose, Clarence Castle, Dr.Paul B. Hall, Dr. James
Archer, Marvin Atlinson, Edd Redd, Raymond Brugh, W. J. Carroll, J.E.
Radcliffe, and W. B. Hazelrigg.
Graveside rites were held at 2:00 p.m., July 16, in the Highland
Memorial Park with Rev. James Wallace officiating.
Funeral services were under the direction of the Preston Funeral
Home.
